…I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me; but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. So I am well pleased with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, and with difficulties, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak [in human strength], then I am strong [truly able, truly powerful, truly drawing from God’s strength] (2 Corinthians 12:8-10 AMP).

Beloved, do you know that there’s a kind of grace that would help you keep a cool temperament and persevere in the face of insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles? If there’s anything this past year that has just gone by has taught me to appreciate, it is the grace of God. There were many times I found myself in certain situations – situations that would normally frustrate the life out of me but I was able to bear it. In those moments, I had to ask myself “how am I able to cope with this?” but then I remember what the Lord said… there’s a grace over your life… my grace is sufficient for you. The kind of grace that doesn’t even make one look like the things you’ve been through and as I listened to people’s testimonies on the 31st of December of how they were able to survive in 2016, I remember telling someone that we are entering a season where we would find that we would appreciate the grace of God more than anything.

While people are boasting of material things, the houses, the cars, the designer outfits and everything else like Apostle Paul, you would find yourself boasting of the grace of God., People are getting to know more and more that it’s only the grace of God that has kept me and it is what would continue to keep me.

Apostle Paul said… BUT BY THE [REMARKABLE] GRACE OF GOD I AM WHAT I AM, and His grace toward me was not without effect. In fact, I worked harder than all of the apostles, though it was not I, but the grace of God [His unmerited favor and blessing which was] with me (1 Corinthians 15:10 AMP).

BUT BY THE [REMARKABLE] GRACE OF GOD I AM WHAT I AM… not by my qualifications… not by my strength… not by who I know… but I am what I am because of the remarkable grace of God… And with great ability and power the apostles were continuously testifying to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and GREAT GRACE [God’s remarkable lovingkindness and favor and goodwill] rested richly upon them all (Acts 4:33 AMP).

Beloved, are you in a position where you’ve really started to appreciate the grace of God over your life because it is one thing that you would definitely need to survive the times that we are in and to finish the race.

God bless you in Jesus Christ name
